Gift Notification Template
Barb's Philosophy on Gift "Thingies":
Many people have asked (especially around Christmastime) for gift certificates for my classes or books and supplies. I am a one-man band - wait - make that a "one-woman tangle"- and simply cannot keep track of gift certificates on top of everything else- e.g who is still outstanding, expiry dates, location of classes that fit with the gifted person's location, etc., etc. and I hate to disappoint. I teach on an irregular schedule in various locations, so may or may not have a class or event that suits. I cannot, therefore, provide or sell gift certificates.
So - I give you a tangled Gift Notification Template. It is not a guarantee of services or goods like a prepaid gift certificate in a store, as you do not pay me for anything. This is a free printable do-it-yourself template that you may use. Download and save or print the pdf file above.
You may print it off, fill it out (use the empty lines to describe the class/book you think the recipient might like), add cash or a cheque (made out to them) in the amount you want to gift. Then it is up to the recipient to check on my website for classes or events in his/her area and sign themselves up. If that does not work out for them, well, they still have cash to spend on other art supplies or classes. That way we can all avoid disappointment, but you can still give a gift that says "I want to help you to be able to be creative, and find your zen space."
Tangle on!
